ABSTRACT

Awareness about the health of people in developed countries began to decline due to the consumption of cigarettes each year. At the same time, by the public awareness of consumers, opened cases to the producers is increasing every day in these countries . In this situation, producers change their goal direction from developed countries to developing countries which including Turkey. . Tobacco consumption is also thought to be in relation to supply the demand. In this case, a decrease in tobacco consumption in Turkey to avoid becoming a target of cigarette manufacturers. In this study we tried to show, There has been a diminiation on tobacco consumption in Turkey via smoking bans since 1996.
