ABSTRACT

Religious texts are the first resources to apply to find out the vocabulary of the Turkish language dialects easily and to identify when and how of the transformations in vocabulary throughout the history. Therefore, Surah Al-Fatiha, which has been translated into almost every dialect of the Turks who have adopted Islam as their religion or been influenced by it. In this study, have been based on the texts of Turkish Karahan language and the Ancient Anatolian Turkish Language for a diachronical research, and the texts of the Turkish Language of Turkey, Azarbaijan Turkish, Uighur Turkish, Tatar Turkish and Kazakh Turkish. Comparing the vocabulary, sentence structures and additional uses of the texts, the Turkish word frequency and its use have been the matters of this research.
