ABSTRACT

Ordered logistic regression is a method that can be used where the independent variable contains more than two categories. The most important point is that the dependent variable must be in an ordered structure. For this purpose 460 students choosen by stratified sampling were asked to fill the questionnaires to find out their views on the academic personnel throughout the academic year. A model has been created to identify the title of the academic personnel based on the criteras listed on the questionnaire. The title of an academic personnel will be estimated by the scores obtained from the criterias. In addition to the model containing all of the variables, new models have been created by using factor analysis and Wald statistics containing less variables and all of the models have been compared with each other.
