Abstract

Disciplinary Regulations no. 17789 Regarding Higher Education Institution Directors, Instructors and Officers, effective by August 21, 1982 (“Regulations”) was amended by Regulations no 28897 Amending Disciplinary Regulations Regarding Higher Education Institution Directors, Instructors and Officers, effective by January 29, 2014. Processes concerning disciplinary offences committed by higher education institution staff have been conducted in accordance with the amendments since January 29, 2014. This paper reviews the amendments by considering the substantive rules of disciplinary proceedings to be conducted after the Regulations issued under articles 53 and 64/a-9 of Law no. 2547 on Higher Education and by mentioning the differences between the situations before and after the Amendment.
