The expectations of the individuals who compose the society, their individual qualifications and skills will ensure the success of the business and directly affect the development process. For this reason, this study was carried out to determine the entrepreneurial qualifications and entrepreneurship skills of women who have a significant labor force potential in the countryside. 106 women living in rural areas were interviewed in the purposeful study. The relationship between women's entrepreneurial qualification and entrepreneurial skills was examined in this study in which the success of entrepreneurship skills in explaining individual qualification was determined as 50.90%. The most important factor that prevents performing entrepreneurship activities was determined as “social control focus” among the factors representing individual qualifications. Social control focus reveals the women's fatalist structure and prevents entrepreneurship from turning into action.
