Abstract

The study aims to examine the disability perceptions of mothers who have children with normal development in early childhood. The research model of this research was chosen as the qualitative research model. This research was hold during the time of October 2020-January 2021. The population of the study is the mothers who have a normally developing child in early childhood. The study group of the study was selected using the easily accessible situation sampling method, which is included in the purposeful sampling. The study group of the study is 10 mothers with a child with normal development in early childhood. The data collection tool of the research is one-on-one interviews with interview management. It was analyzed by the content analysis method obtained in the research. In the study, disability perception was not encountered in mothers who had children with normal development in early childhood, and it was observed that mothers' one-to-one experiences with disabled individuals gave them a positive attitude in raising their children.
