ABSTRACT
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between individual investors' five-factor personality types and behavioral finance. For this purpose, what kind of investor tendency of individuals with which type of personality has been examined is examined. The universe is situated in Turkey are individual investors. Snowball sampling method was used in the research and data were obtained by survey technique. According to the data obtained, it is seen that most of the investors have personality traits that are extroversion, compatibility, responsible, emotional stable and open for improvement. It is observed that these personality traits have an impact on investor tendencies, self-deception tendency, cognitive tendency, emotional tendency, social tendency, lack of auto control and tendency to avoid loss. The trends in the highest level in the investors and in the lowest level were determined as emotional balanced.
