Abstract

Applications which can be named as folk medicine (remedy), traditional medicine or altarnative medicine have appeared on history stage since mankind came to existence because they have always tried to cure diseases by benefiting from / using nature. The researches put forward that these applications which have gone on thousands of years back have been transformed into a cultural accumulation.

İn this study, traditional medicine applications in Edirne which where gained / obtained from a field study is given / offered / provided. Such medical applications have reached the present time through cultural passing on from generation to generation.
