ABSTRACT

In the whole period of the Crusades which began in late XI. century, there are a lot of devolopments that they got direction to events. It looked from the Crusaders side ; internal struggles between the Muslim rulers and military supports from Europe was determined for them because of their presence in the Middle East. In the Muslim side ; presence of the leader figures who took scene following each other was important. In this position Artuqids make certain to packingup the Muslims against the Crusaders and they got accepted their leadership among the Muslims. Because of them crusaders didn’t sperad into region and Muslims world won a new progress power against the Crusaders. This action which was begun by Artuqids took forward by Zangi (from the packing up phase to attack phase) founder of the Zangid’s State. In this article we’ll relate the strife that lived transferring of leadership between these two power who had been each other predecessorsuccessor in theme of the struggle against the crusaders.
