ABSTRACT
Igdir Province most eastern of Turkey’s. Climate, water resources and position in history is important to always. İ. K. Kökten made the first studies in the region. History of Igdir, Mesolithic Era begins with Gökceli Mound. Igdir, the Urartian period in history to reach the most important. Therefore, the center has a large number of Igdir John. Perhaps one of the most important of these centers is the rock tombs. There are very few rock-cut tombs were found in all the geography of Urartian. So far the only known rockcut tombs in the Karakoyunlu rock tomb of Igdir. In addition, 4 new rock-cut tombs have been identified by our survey. Geography and structure of this new rock-cut tomb of special significance for Igdir and Urartian.
