ABSTRACT

In this article, it is referred to the first departure of Turks through labor agreement in Germany, socio-economic situation in the eighties, integration problems that the first and second generation encountered and the factors which cause this situation. It is aimed in the article to reveal identity seek in Works written by second generation. Alev Tekinay’s work “Dazwischen” and İsmet Elçin’s work “Sinan ohne Land oder Memo, mein Vater” have been chosen to illustrate the identity seek of the second generation, which is generated by people coming to Germany in a young age or coming to earth there.
