THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF LABOUR UNIONS IN 2005 IN EDIRNE AND ITS COMPARISON TO THE YEAR OF 2001

To determine the exact number of members of labour unions in Turkey is a serious problem. This is the case in Edirne, too. This study, examining the number of members of labour unions between 2001 and 2005 in Edirne, indicates that there has been a progress between those years but that the number of member workers is still limited.
